DPCI Announces Partnership with Mark Logic to Deliver XML-Based Content Publishing Solutions

Mark Logic, a leading provider of XML server technologies, enlists DPCI, a well-established technology implementation firm, to integrate MarkLogic Server with digital asset management, Web content management, workflow management, and multi-channel publishing systems.

New York, NY - Feb 11, 2009 - DPCI, a provider of integrated technology solutions for organizations that need to publish content to Web, print, and mobile channels, today announced that it has partnered with Mark Logic Corporation to deliver XML-based content publishing solutions. Mark Logic is the provider of the industry's leading XML server. The company's flagship product, MarkLogic Server, allows customers to store, manage, search, and dynamically deliver content. Addressing the growing need for XML-based content management systems, DPCI and Mark Logic have been collaborating on several projects including one that required integration with Amazon's Kindle reading device.

"As publishers continue en masse to embrace the Web to deliver more dynamic and engaging user experiences with their content, XML-based standards offer flexible solutions for maximizing content reuse and delivery," said John Kreisa, director of industry solutions, Mark Logic Corporation. "Together with DPCI, we provide publishers with customized solutions that deliver highly specialized and personalized content across multiple channels and in a wide variety of formats."

Built specifically for content, MarkLogic Server is the ideal platform for today's content applications. It provides a single solution for search and content delivery that allows customers to build the digital content products that today's marketplace requires. From task-sensitive online content delivery applications that place content in users' workflows to digital asset distribution systems that automate content delivery; from custom publishing applications that maximize content re-use and repurposing to content assembly solutions to integrate content, MarkLogic Server helps publishers create the new products and features that will keep them ahead of the competition.

"Products like MarkLogic Server offer our customers a way to aggregate and manage content in its elemental form for reuse, repackaging, and redistribution," said Joseph Bachana, President of DPCI. "This is another one of these technologies that our early adopter customers are enthusiastic about, which generally means over the next few years the mainstream will adopt vigorously."
