Just found this interesting article, which is an interview of Dr. Robert Cailliau, a colleague of Tim Berners-Lee who is recognized as a co-founder of the World Wide Web. I liked this article since Cailliau pulls no punches nor does he try to market the achievements of the late '80's and early '90's. For instance, he essentially pans HTML as a language and admits that the preponderance of content in that format has created major challenges on the Web today. Follow This Link
