The Event: 6th Annual Gilbane Conference San Francisco 2009

When: Jun 1, 2009 - 8:00pm - Jun 3, 2009 - 8:00pm

Where: The Westin Market Street Hotel
50 Third Street
San Francisco, California

What: Joe Bachana, President/Founder of DPCI, moderates an industry panel entitled "Living in a Free World"

The costs of content development, editorial verification, and the infrastructure for delivery are becoming exceedingly difficult to justify when the consumer increasingly expects to consume that content for free, and advertising revenues are not as predictable.

Some media companies are getting through the current economic downturn with multi-channel strategies and repackaging of content. The thrust of this panel session will be on how publishers and media companies are building new revenue models on the Web as their mainstay print publications and the companion ad revenue dollars continue to shrink.

Check back here in March as we announce who the industry panelists will be for this session. In the meantime, to learn more about the Gilbane Conference, please click here.
