Making it Work: Drupal Modules

Gone are the days when all you needed was a Website with a few static pages containing basic information about your business and how to reach you. When building or redesigning a Website, you're probably thinking about what the site will do - interactive features, personalized content, multimedia, and more.

Drupal offers more than 1,000 modules that plug in to the Web content management system's core framework to extend its functionality. These modules range from slideshows, blogs and newsletters to complex interactive features for users.

As you build your site, odds are good that you'll find a module that meets your needs within the Drupal community. If someone hasn't built it yet, DPCI's experienced developers can extend an existing module or create a custom module to meet nearly any requirement.

DPCI has experience with both enhancing the capabilities of existing modules and creating new ones to satisfy the ever-changing needs of our customers. Some examples include modules to integrate Drupal with a client's existing database or Web services, customized image galleries, and expanded user profiles.

All modules available "out of box" for Drupal are reviewed by members of the developer community and extensively tested before being certified for release. These modules are also supported by this same community, with frequent releases to upgrade, enhance, and fix bugs found with a module.
