The New York University Department of Pathology is one of the largest departments at the NYU Langone Medical Center. To support its goal of providing and promoting the latest education, research, and patient care information, the Department of Pathology, needed to upgrade its Website and simplify the publishing process.

DPCI implemented the Drupal Web content management system to provide the Department of Pathology with a dynamic site that would be easy to edit and update with a wide variety of content. The new Website features enhanced faculty profiles, a Wiki of pathology terms, and extensive information about the department's educational programs and latest research strides.

Project highlights:

  • Enhanced user profiles that allow faculty members to highlight their research interests and latest publications
  • Customized searches for People and Publications to promote the department's faculty
  • Wiki that allows selected members of the department to contribute and edit term definitions
  • Auto-notification to administrators when content editors submit changes
